at the end of March my partner and I want to go to the Tromso area in search of the Northern Lights, we will have a weektime. Our idea is to hire a car and move to Lyngen, where do some activities like snowshoeing or hiking (someone can tell me something about it?) During the day and in the evening go out to search for aurora in autonomy, do you think it is feasible to do everything without the guides? is it necessary to rent cars or even more convenient to move with buses?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
